ok, here we go. i know, i know better late than never. so i thought that we would start the new year by sharing our good news to start the new year off right. some of you know that my father, ed has been waiting for a kidney for the past 8 years and we got exciting news on sunday night that on had been found for him. he had the transplant monday and is doing great. feels like this might be a great year already. happy ny!
Ironically, I have been to SF back and forth since November because my mom needed a liver transplant... They told us she had a 1% chance of survival thought the night, and was too sick to get a transplant, even if a liver was found. She made it through that night, and shortly after a liver was found and transplanted on Dec 11!! At 56 years old, it just wasn't her time! This is the reason I found your bakery.. all my trips to UCSF to visit mom, sometimes included a visit to a friend who works around the corner from Baked!! Best baked goodies I have ever had!! Love you guys!
